Beach Day! - This is a great critical thinking activity for kids. In the "Verb" column, make a list of verbs that you plan on doing at a beach (i.e. swim, play, etc.). Switch papers with a partner. In the "Sentence" column, use the verb (in future tense) in a sentence. Be sure to use at least one of each simple, perfect, progressive and perfect progressive forms.
