Artists that create art based on literature, text, or to help explain concepts are called Illustrators. In most cases, illustrators focus on art that is two-dimensional with the purpose of helping bring the written word to life or put a face on it. In many cases illustrations not only help the reader visualize the work, but they also add to the story a bit. This selection of worksheets has you working off of the illustrations. How to Improve Your Ability to Answer Questions


There are many different techniques that people that answer questions well do habitually. The first and most often used technique is using what we refer to as “wait time” or “think time”. For some odd reason, the general population holds the consensus that those that answer question really quickly are smarter than people that do not. That could not be farther from the truth. It does not matter that answer quickly, it is much more important to answer correctly and in an appropriate manner. This can often be achieved by just take a few extra seconds to process what is being asked of you and taking your time to reply. This is why we encourage students to always take a pause after being asked a question. Use that pause to process and fully understand the problem that was presented, if anything is unclear ask for clarification.


One thing that is a common trait held by people that are solid question responders is the ability to answer the question without over explaining. When we over explain we sometimes go in different directions from where the question was first directed, and this often will confuse the person that is evaluating your response. People that are answering questions in-person would benefit from maintaining eye contact and a positive body posture to make the evaluator, if you would, be more apt to agree with them.


Cunning question responders will also have techniques master to dodge questions that steer in directions that do not benefit them or their organization. You can skill this skill in action when you look at professional sports press conference that involve team management. The most skillful technique that is often employed is avoiding answering questions that you do not want to answer and reshaping the question in a manner that you would like to answer it in. You will also use this technique often when you begin to go on job interviews. Employers will often ask tough questions that really look to evaluate you. If you feel the need to dodge a question, reshape it to your benefit.
