How to Write Concluding Narrative Statements?


Concluding statements are an important part of any written content. Concluding statements are always written at the end of the content and must summarize the main idea without opposing any of the ideas presented within the text. Concluding statements or paragraph are written while following some specific rules and a specific pattern. In the case of narrative writing, there are some appropriate ways to write these concluding statements.


Here are some tips to write narrative concluding statements efficiently:


Be Clear About What You Have to Say


In the case of any narrative work, the narrator needs to be very clear about his or her main ideas while writing the conclusion. It is better to read the content repeatedly to effectively summarize the main idea of that narrative text. Only this summary can be a good concluding statement on its own.


Be Brief and Simple


Readers always appreciate and enjoy brief conclusions. In the case of a long concluding section, readers get annoyed and decide not to read it. You should include only the necessary information about the content in the concluding parts. Use easy and simple language to make it understandable and a quick read.


Authenticate Your Conclusion


Always substantiate the content you have written in the concluding section and the text over all. For the purpose of adding authenticity to your works, try to cite proven facts, figures, and accurate statistics wherever possible. This will help to make your narrative conclusions interesting and accurate.


State the Message


Every content, either fiction or nonfiction, must contain a message or a didactic ending that the writer wants to convey to the reader through that text. In the narrative concluding statements, write the message clearly and explain it briefly.


Rewrite the Main idea
