Retelling Familiar Stories Worksheets
Related ELA Standard: RL.K.2
Stories often take us outside our everyday life and for a moment take us out of comfort zone and help us learn more about life. When students are retelling a story themselves it displays the highest level of reading comprehension. This is a strategy my old English teacher would make us do before tests. It is a great technique to help you learn and assess your understanding of a story. These worksheets will help you start to retell a story in pieces, parts, and as a whole.
